I captured this image on a moody Patagonia morning in Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. While I was hoping for a sunrise, the clouds in Patagonia are always dramatic. With the cloudy weather, the turquoise waters of Lago Pehoe were especially vibrant. I also loved the foreground element in this scene. The rock, surrounded by a small pool of water (gathered from the waves of the lake), felt like an anchor to the mountains beyond.
