I shot this image at the inlet to Floe Lake - a stunning glacial lake in Kootenay National Park. Streams are probably my favorite natural element to shoot and this was no exception. As I hunted for potential compositions around the lake, I spotted this riffle kicking up water from across the lake. I love how the lines in the water guide the eye towards Floe Lake and the imposing mountains (called the Rockwall) behind it.
