This is another image from the beautiful Lost Mine Trail. On this day, the trail was extremely crowded near the viewpoint. Ironically enough, a photography group was the culprit! Instead of fighting the crowds to capture a composition I already had, I instead looked for alternatives. I spotted a tiny cedar tree perched on a small rock about 20 feet down the hill. Since it took a (slightly sketchy) down-climb to get there, I had this beautiful scene all to myself.
