Berg Lake in Mount Robson Provincial Park is my favorite backpacking trek in the trek in the Canadian Rockies. Right from the start, you are greeted with large, lush Western red cedar trees. The trail then passes by Kinney Lake - a beautiful glacial lake surrounded by the peaks surrounding Mount Robson. The trail then gains significant elevation up to Berg Lake - which is an absolutely stunning destination directly under Mount Robson. Glaciers pour down Robson’s face into the turquiose lake below. I found this log on the shores of Berg Lake near the campground. I used a ND filter to slow the movement of the water to get a nice smoothing effect on the lake’s surface.
