Edge of the Range

The top of the Lost Mine Trail in Big Bend is one of my favorite views of the park. At the end of the trail, you reach a long, flat ridge that offers 360 degree views of the Chisos mountains, the South Rim, and the desert below. This particular image captures the Chisos range - and the dramatic drop from the peaks to the desert far below.
