Berg Lake in Mount Robson Provincial Park is my favorite backpacking trek in the trek in the Canadian Rockies. Right from the start, you are greeted with large, lush Western red cedar trees. The trail then passes by Kinney Lake - a beautiful glacial lake surrounded by the peaks surrounding Mount Robson. The trail then gains significant elevation up to Berg Lake - which is an absolutely stunning destination directly under Mount Robson. Glaciers pour down Robson’s face into the turquoise lake below. Several miles before Berg Lake lies Emperor Falls - an absolutely stunning and amazingly powerful waterfall. In this frame, I captured my friend standing in front of the waterfall, where he is surrounded by rushing water.
