Ferns

I found this composition right at the end of Wall Street - the most dramatic part of the Narrows. What struck me about this scene were the ferns. I had been trudging through the heart of a river with only stone and water to use as elements. All of the sudden, as the walls widened the ferns appeared. The green of the ferns was a stark contrast to the rest of the scene and Wall Street as a whole.
