From Above

I took this in a bluebonnet field in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. These bluebonnets tend to bloom around March-April and are the state flower of Texas. They also happen to be one of my personal favorites to capture. In this frame, I captured the flower patch from above - which was a unique perspective. I focused on the beautiful pink flower in the middle - which blurred the slightly shorter bluebonnets. I liked the shape of the bluebonnets and I think they give the image a slightly abstract feel.
