I took this photo on the trail to Cracker Lake. To get up to the lake, we hiked through a socked-in valley. While this limited our views, it presented fun opportunities for my 100-400 zoom lens! In this image, I found a grouping of trees standing alone from the rest. The thick mist gives a mysterious vibe to these trees. The monotone color scheme is one of my favorite parts about this shot.
