I took this image at Cracker Lake - a stunning 12 mile hike into the Glacier backcountry. When we started the hike, the clouds were completely socked in. However, once we arrived at the lake, the clouds began to clear. I took this image as the sun briefly illuminated this cliff face behind the lake. The sun, still lake surface, and the clouds combined to produce a beautiful result. The light was fleeting - several minutes after I shot this image, the clouds once again closed up and the window was gone!
