Holding Ground

I spotted this yucca right before sunrise on a cold winter morning out at the dunefield. I liked how it had a Charlie Brown christmas tree feel to it - with the plant drooping down on the right side. I felt that this scene speaks to the resilience of these plants growing in this harsh environment of shifting sand.
