I captured this image in the Korean countryside, near the town on Danyang. My friend and I climbed about 300 feet up a steep trail to get to a beautiful vantage point of the mountains and the lake below. I was after one of South Korea’s beautiful pine trees and had picked this location to do so. Unlike pines in the US, the ones in South Korea tend to branch out to the sides, forming some beautiful shapes and branches.
