Left Behind

Similar to a previous picture in this collection, this image captures the large remains of a tree in the gypsum dunefield. In this photo, I summited a nearby dune that gave me a different, wider perspective than my other image. This allowed me to capture more of the stunning clouds in the sunset along with the dramatic remains of this tree.
