Monochrome Waves

White Sands is backdropped by the beautiful San Andres Mountains to the west. These mountains made a perfect backdrop for the undulating sand dunes. I decided to present this image in black and white as it brought out the shadows of the dunes very nicely. I love the lines of shadows on both sides of the image that guide the eye towards the mountains.
