I took this photo on a moody day while driving Going-to-the-Sun Road. Clouds gave the peaks a unique feel that you can’t get on a sunny day. Since we visited at Labor Day, the flowers were already starting to retreat. I took this image at Paradise Meadow - where I was fortunate to find a fireweed stalk with beautiful colors still hanging on. I loved how the mountain valley on the left and the road on the right converged to meet at the flower in the middle.
