Perch

In this image, I captured an osprey perched on top of an old pine tree in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This tree is located right next to a lake - where the osprey will fish for panfish and yellow perch. I got amazingly lucky with the conditions for this shot. I caught the sunset illuminating the clouds behind the tree while the tree and bird were both silhouetted perfectly.
