Pool

I took this image of a glacial pool while on the Root Glacier in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. The Root Glacier is cool because it’s one of two glaciers in Alaska that you can walk on without a guide. I was hoping to find some of these glacial pools on the glacier but was blown away. The color was a vibrant, cool blue and you couldn’t see the bottom of them!
