Prickly Pear

I found the prickly pear cactus in the image above perched on the side of a cliff, overlooking Angel’s Landing. What stood out to me about this particular cactus was the coloration. It was bright purple! The uniqueness of this plant combined with the beauty of Angel’s Landing rising behind it made for a visually powerful image.
