Summit
Standing at 7,825 feet tall and 3,000 feet above the Chisos Basin below, Emory Peak is the highest point in Big Bend National Park. It is reached by a difficult 9 mile hike. At the end of the hike lies a small rock scramble with significant exposure to reach the peak. However, those that do reach the peak are rewarded with 360 degree views of the Chisos Mountains and the desert far below.
