Sun Crown

I took this in a bluebonnet field in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. These bluebonnets tend to bloom around March-April and are the state flower of Texas. They also happen to be one of my personal favorites to capture. In this image, I found a beautiful bluebonnet positioned right below the setting sun. I loved how the sun lit up the petals from behind - giving this flower a glowing effect. The rays coming off of the sun also added to the feel of the image.
