Sun’s Kiss

I took this in a bluebonnet field in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. These bluebonnets tend to bloom around March-April and are the state flower of Texas. They also happen to be one of my personal favorites to capture. This was probably my favorite shot from this bluebonnet shoot. I used a flower in the foreground as a blurred frame and placed this beautiful, curved flower in the middle-right as my main subject. I particularly liked the soft, subtle kiss of sunlight illuminating the petals of this bluebonnet. It makes this flower stand out from the rest of the background.
