Takeoff

In this image, I captured a massive bald eagle taking off from a lakeside tree. I loved the action shot - catching the eagle spreading its wings as it launched off the nearby branch. I also liked the sharp shadow and light dichotomy in this image - especially around the beak of this majestic bird.
