The Great One

Denali, commonly referred to as “The Great One", lives up to its name. The mountain towers above its surroundings and stands out not only due to its height, but also due to its glaciation. Since Denali is the highest peak in the range by a significant margin, it is also the most glaciated. This means that the white dome of Denali stands out from the rocky peaks of the foothills. I took this image with a zoom lens about 60 miles away from the peak.
