Upper Grinnell Lake and Grinnell Glacier are reached by a strenuous 12 mile hike but the effort is worth it! The lake is bright blue and directly fed by the Grinnell Glacier. Waterfalls pour into the lake as glaciers higher up the mountain continue to melt. In this photo, I captured my friend standing in front of the waterfall pouring into the beautiful glacial lake.
