This shot was taken at Upper Emerald Pool in Zion Canyon after several rainy days. On a rainy day, the cliffs come alive with waterfalls, which pop up sporadically all over the cliff faces. Even on a dry day, there is often water trickling into this pool from the cliffs above. So on a rainy day, the volume of water coming down and over the cliff was staggering to see - especially in a desert environment. A true oasis in the desert!
