Vertical Gold

While shooting this scene, I loved the verticality of the aspen trees. The two trees in the foreground coming out of the ground with a slight bend to either side made this composition very interesting. Similar to a lot of my other aspen shots, the golden canopy of aspen leaves contrasted well with the whites and grays of the aspen bark as well as the greens of the fir and spruce trees dispersed throughout the scene.
